Our loam is rich, dark farm soil, a mixture of sand, silt, and clay, screened to one-half inch for a smooth texture. Loam makes an excellent base for seeding new lawns and patching dry areas. Loam is necessary for drainage, aeration, and nutrient absorption.

You can order online by the yard. The minimum quantity for delivery is 3 yards. If you prefer to pick it up at the farm, please call us at 978.464.2041 to ensure that someone is here to help you load. Hours at the farm vary seasonally.
